Barn Raising
We are in the process of organizing the reconstruction of the old main barn. We are currently salvaging material from the barn for recycling. The timber frame will be repaired/rebuilt and she will rise again… we are planning a workshop on timber framing in conjunction with the raising, to cut the replacement post and beams. We are harvesting the dying ash trees for use in the reconstruction. The tentative date for the workshop and raising is late summer 2019…
